Can I have some feedback on the following boys names? Keanu and Jonah?

I'm so undecided on names, I'm not thinking of using these together but what do you think of these names in general?

Thanks for everyone's input! :o)

Can I have some feedback on the following boys names? Keanu and Jonah?
Your child is going to only be a child for 18 years. What name do you best picture him going through life with as an adult?

Keanu won't cut it. Would you want a guy named Keanu for President? For your doctor? Would you buy insurance from him? Have him as your pastor? No, you'd buy suntan lotion from him in a surf shop.

Jonah to me is a great boy's name and I also equate it with Sleepless in Seattle. But I have a hard time imagining a successful professional man named Jonah. It's better than Keanu, though.
Reply:Jonah is a very strong and meaningful boys name! Hope you choose it!
Reply:When I hear the name Keanu I think of the actor %26amp; the movie the Matrix. I'm just not all that crazy about it.

Jonah is nice. It is a biblical name....both of my children have biblical middle names.
Reply:I like Keanu that is a highly unique name. Jonah is cool but lots of people have that name
Reply:I like the name Jonah the best. It is easy to pronounce and easy to spell. Be easier on a child when they began spelling their name.
Reply:I've always loved the name Keanu. Apparently it's Hawaiian and means "cool mountain breeze" which I think is really nice. :-)
Reply:Keanu? how do you prn that??

Jonah is cute ( I like it for girl too)

Jonas is cute too and Joel

I know 4 brothers named

Jonathan

Joshua

Jonah

Joel
Reply:keanu I wouldn't know how to pronounce,

Jonah ,I like
Reply:I love Keanu, like one of my favorite actors, Keanu Reeves. It's Hawaiin for "Cool Breeze Over The Mountains"

Jonah's cute too. It's Hebrew for "Man of Peace"

I like both, but prefer Keanu
Reply:Jonah is really cute.Keanu is a bit 90's-but still nice!!
Reply:they're both gay
Reply:I automatically think of the Matrix when I hear Keanu

I like Jonah...it makes me think of Sleepless in Seattle(that was the boy's name in the movie)
Reply:keanu if you want your boy to be an arrogant bum blaster.

jonah if you want you boy to eventually marry and subsequently be eaten by a bery large woman.
Reply:Jonah has my vote and is timeless. But Keanu is too..., too 80s, too Time Travel via Phonebooth flashbackish.
Reply:I like Keanu because of Keanu Reeves. Jonah is more submissive and shy type.

Keanu is more outgoing, free spirited, chivilrous, and handsome name.
Reply:I like Jonah but I don't really like Keanu.

Good luck!
Reply:I think its your baby, and you should do what you want! However, since you asked my opinion... They don't really sound good together. I would go with one or the other, and then find a middle name that doesn't sound so much like the first name. Like.. Jonah Ezekiel ..... Jonah Michael... Jonah Alexander...
Reply:keanu is better...
Reply:Jonah- great nice name. I like Jonah Matthew.

Keanu, nah, not for me. Keanu Reeves is all that comes to mind (obviously) and I think they're are a lot more inspiring people in the world to name your son after than him.

Even if you are not naming him after Keanu, everyone will think you are. Good Luck.
Reply:I like Keanu better.
Reply:i like keanu- just like keanu reeves, is that where you got the idea? i have a friend who's 5 year old son is named Kalani and it's hawaiian as is keanu
Reply:I think you can do better!

Boy: Kieran, Kenneth, Jonathan, Josh!
Reply:Unless you are Asian, I would not go with Keanu. That's just me though, I would expect to see a little Asian boy named that. Jonah is quite cute. I would choose Jonah over Keanu.
Reply:i like keanu as a name but i wouldnt call my kid that cos people will assume that its after the star.

jonah is okay, i dont know.. ..

try something even more different.. i know a lil boy called Jyzaiah (pronounced 'Jy-zay-a') its a cross between josiah and isaiah.
Reply:Not so much the Keanu but I like Jonah. Though it does bring to mind a whale.
