What personalities or characteristics come to mind when you hear these boys' names?
(child) I imagine both with dark hair, brown eyes, and serious expressions...
(adult) Holden seems more like a doctor/CEO/other highly paid job... August seems more like a teacher and more friendly/approachable...

Reply:Well, immediately with Holden, I think of Catcher in the Rye. Although, if I were to meet someone named Holden, I wouldn't associate the character's quality with the person. I would probably associate just an overall literary, reader, quality. I'd think "this person comes from a well-read home."
I associate August with being Greek or Roman. I suppose it's more Augustus, but I still get an ancient philosophical vibe from it. I think it's a great name.
Reply:Holden sounds a very successful and intelligent guy. When I hear the name August I think of a man who is very sensitive and emotional.
