Why are girls names cuter than boys names?

lol.

I don't really like any boys names!

And I'm so hoping for a girl cuz even the clothes is

cuter! everything for a girl is cuter than for a boy!

what do you think?

Why are girls names cuter than boys names?
I definately have an easier time finding girls' names I like than boys'. I just had to flip through a baby book just to find a third male choice, and since males run in my boyfriend's family... I mean, I want a few of each, but if I end up with more than three boys, that kid is screwed. Plus, they're more active. Anyway, back to the names, all I can suggest is write down a list, or use http://www.babynamesworld.com, and include ANY of the names you think you could stand. Eventually, one will grow on you. That's how I got used to Nathaniel, and now, I really want to use it.
Reply:Yes there are a lot of cute girls names but I think there are also some very cute boys names to. As for clothes I have to agree girls clothes are so cute with all the lace and ribbon and frilly stuff, but there are some cute boys stuff, I think it's cuter when there a bit older just starting to walk. If you think about it the cuter something is the more your likely not to use for your boy, even though their babies/toddlers their still boys and in the world today if it's too cute it's classed as sissy. And I really think that parents try to make their babies/toddlers grow up to quick, especially the way they dress them.
Reply:Keep your mind open to either sex. You are pregnant, and the sex is already determined, and you had no say in the matter. It is like flipping a coin, you cannot be sure what side it will land on. Your determination that you want a girl because you can dress her cute is not a good reason to be hoping for a certain sex. I have a suggestion, don't look at names until you find out whether the baby is a boy or girl, and that makes it much easier to focus. Obviously you are swayed by the fact that you are convincing yourself you can only have a girl. You are setting yourself up for disappointment and you will end up feeling bad that you ever were sad once your bundle of joy is here. Deal with the fact that the boys clothing departments are smaller and less attractive to you, it is a small price to pay for the love that a son can bring you (JUST THE SAME AS A DAUGHTER).

ps--While a mother/son relationship is wonderful and unique, there is nothing "sexy" about a mother/son relationship--eew!!
Reply:You've got screwy reasons for hoping for a girl over a boy... and because of that I hope you get a girl too. I'd worry what you'd try to do with the boy.

A kid isn't a fashion accessory, you know.

People tend to think of girls as cute and boys not as much so. And a lot of the names people suggest for girls here are trashy and ghetto, not cute... Jaylene, Charmoine, Jayden, Kaylee, Keelee... ugh. Trash.
Reply:Yes I agree with you everythig pink is much more attractive to womans eye. BUT there is NOTHING in this world like the love from a mother/Son relationship. It is almost a sexy thing. I have 2 girls and a boy, and when my 12 month old baby boy looks straight into my eyes.....he makes me melt!!!!!

My girls do the same but with him is different. There is such a much deeper connection. It is as if he is touching my soul.

He just learned to blow kisses with his hand and I almost feel faint when he blows me a kiss. It tickles my heart!

oh NO! I think that one day I might be a mother in law from hell! lol
Reply:but you'll get tired of having to play dress up and tea party and horsey and wedding and princess and miss-doesn't-do-anything=wrong-because-i... "sugar and spice and everything nice" EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!! boys are SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier!
Reply:My take on it is that I am female, and female names come to mind first for me. I can think of about twice as many female names than male.

I also think that "cutesy" boy names are un-masculine.
Reply:Because girls are cuter than boys? Just joking...It's probably because you can give a cute, fluffy name to a girl, but you need to give a name that signifies strength and sturdiness to a boy.
Reply:well, with girls, you can "fancy" them, you can be artistic with them. if you do that with boys, it will look weird.
Reply:Im just the opposite, I think girls are much harder to name. For boys, I think you cant go wrong if you give them a strong masculine name. Dylan, Nick, Conner, Jack, Harrison
Reply:I'm having triplets and i can't think of any girl names!

But i can think of so many boy names that i like lol
Reply:I do agree. But as a girl.. it's easier to find 'cute' girl things. For guys it's easier to find 'cute' boy things.

=)
Reply:Cause girls are cute ,and cuddly. Thats why I like them so much.
Reply:i always felt that way too.
