Is it easier for you to come up with boys names or girls names?

I see a lot of people asking questions about girl names and there's hardly any questions about boy names.

I find it very easy to come up with a boys name that I like, and I hardly can find any girls names that I like.

Was it easier for you to come up with boys names or girls names? What was more fun to come up with?

Is it easier for you to come up with boys names or girls names?
I like coming up with both...since I have 2 boys and a girl its become easier for both...but I must admit girls are easier for me,but I am more particular about girls names too..%26gt;=)

P.S. Don't worry about the thumbs down you got ,theres always trolls on here doing that for no reason,it happens to all of us at one time or another..I loved the two names you picked for a boy %26amp; girl on the other Question!%26gt;=)
Reply:I have 2 boys, but we didn't find out gender until birth. Both times, we had girl names set by the third month, and boys names didn't get decided until about 2 weeks before I had them! I think that there are just more creative girls names out there, and more chances to get it really wrong.
Reply:i think its so much easier to think of girls names that i like. there aren't many boys names that stand out for me.
Reply:It is much easier for me to come up w/ girls names.
Reply:I think it is terribly hard to name a child! Boys are often named after their fathers...maybe that is why the questions for girls names are more common on here!

I had NO problem finding a girl name before I found out that I was having a boy! Finding a 3rd boys name is soooo hard!
Reply:Boys names are harder
Reply:My husband and I had a hard time coming up with a boys name! We had about 3 different girls names that we loved and it was just a matter of which one but when we found out we were having a boy it took us a long time to think of a boys name. To us they were either too common, or too old sounding, it was hard. It took us a few months to decide on Jordan Daniel lol, I'm glad I found out ahead of time it was a boy or I might have been in trouble!
Reply:the girl names are easy. i am stuck on the boys names.

the girl names have been fun.

the boys names have been hard.
Reply:It's a lot easier for me to come up with girl names than boy names
Reply:Its definitely easier to come up with girls names; for boys, it seems hard to come up with a creative name that doesn't sound trashy. There's just more available options for girls!
Reply:We had an easier time naming our daughter, Emma Rebeccah than our son.

We went back and forth on his name for months! We ended up with Elijah Dale, which we love.

It was much harder for us to pick out a boy's name than our girl's.
Reply:Girls names are easier for me to come up with.
Reply:I come up easier with boy names, but girl names are more fun to search, lot of possibilities
Reply:I am better at thinking of original girl names, i think its cause i have 4 girls and 1 son the boys sometimes get stick with juniors so i never really thought of boys names until i found out my husband didnt want a junior. but i always thought about girl names
Reply:girls names
Reply:My girls names were very easy to come up with. On the other hand to chose a name for a boy that was strong, masculine and not popular was difficult with my first son and is even harder with my second son.

I want my boys to have a name that will sound great as man when he introduces himself to women and a name that looks great on his resume.
Reply:For me, it is MUCH more fun and easier to come up with girls' names, partly because I am a girl. I love mostly 4 - 7 letters for girls' names. But I do like those long ones that are hardly used anymore like Victoria.
Reply:Naming the prodigy is the first step for a professional parent, the first step on the road to success.

You know your kid will not be a successful Ivy Leaguer without a name like Jayden, or Colton. For boys the names that must be given are either: Jayden, Cayden, Caden, Colton, Logan, Dylan, Dillon, Dillan, or Asher.

For girls I've seen: Montana, Dakota, Madie, Rainy, Stormy, Raine, MacKenzie, Grace, Ivy.

But youre right, the professional parents seem a bit more stumped figuring out what name will make their prodigy unique.

I look forward to having a class full of Jaydens in a few years. Each of them will be oh so unique.
