Hello, My husband and I are expecting a baby boy next month and we are absolutely stumped on a name! We NEED your help. Our last name is Bull. I say that because of certain difficulties like the name Harry for example! Any help would be fantastic!

Reply:Your best bet is to choose a name that's not another English word, doesn't sound like another English word, or couldn't be shortened to an English word. You'll also probably want something that's somewhat familiar, even if it's not extremely common. Since your last name is very simple, you'll want to avoid names that sound extremely exotic.





You actually have a lot of options, as long as you know which names to avoid. Harry Bull is definitely one of them. So are Oliver Bull (as in, "I'm tired of taking all of her bull"), Rhett Bull (sounds like a common energy drink), and Ryder Bull.
